Sony SL-F25UB Betamax - The UK's last commercially available Sony Betamax machine.
This ones a little bit different insofar as we're looking at a Sony F25 from 1986. It's the last Sony Betamax to be released and sold in the UK although the HF950 did hang around for a while too. It would be great to hear stories from back in the day of these machines and the HF950 too from a sales point of view especially any discounts offered at the time. I'm guessing these machines went for very little money in the end. They were certainly built to a budget and the screw count really confirms that. I know I say about being tight on the amount of screws but I do get that saving $1 over a million units really does make a difference but the F25 is still a well thought out machine with a big forehead! On the plug check - I just noticed that the live wire is too long in the plug so that's a mark off the 10 out of 10! Please like, share and subscribe - subscribing really will help me do a lot more varied content and I do really appreciate it too.
