Dispatches: Luxury Hotel | Japan — Commercial Assignment EP. 8

A luxury hotel in Beppu, Japan hired me to shoot their advertising campaign. What started as a straightforward commercial job turned into one of the most creatively satisfying assignments of my career. I did not expect that. In this episode I walk through the entire shoot from brief to final delivery. What the client wanted, what I actually delivered, how I navigated the gap between the two, and why this particular job changed the way I think about commercial photography. If you want to understand what separates a good commercial shoot from a great one, this episode gets into the real details. The production decisions, the lighting, the moments you cannot plan for, and what it actually takes to make images that a luxury brand trusts to represent them globally. This shoot was produced by Mott Visuals, my full service photo and video production company based in Hanoi, Vietnam. http://www.mottvisuals.com InterContinental Beppu, Japan: https://www.ihg.com/intercontinental/...
