Malibu Was Firing, stoked I Woke Up Early

I arrived at Malibu earlier than usual to catch a solid south swell—so early, the pier was still locked. With my usual filming spot off-limits, I had to improvise and try an angle I’ve been eyeing for a while. What started as a setback turned into one of the best filming mornings I’ve had at Malibu. Beautiful light, clean surf, and a fresh perspective.
