Reviewing the 'Sewing Clothes for Barbie' Guide by Following a Dress Pattern

Finally I've got round to making something from this book, I've procrastinated so much in regards to sewing this month. I picked this dress because I thought I'd go for something that looked reasonably simple without sleeves as I'm not sure if I'm skilled enough to machine sew anything too fiddly and I'd rather use my machine for neatness. I purchased this book Sewing Clothes For Barbie by Annabel Benilan from Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/180092425... Extra: The piece of fabric I used was a fat quarter and I used less than half of it cutting out this pattern. I'd have preferred to use a better matching thread but that was the only purple I had available. At least with patterned fabric it's less noticeable. On further review of the dress I think the darts needed to be slightly closer together for the best fit but it still works. Remember: Always craft at your own risk and follow any manufacturers instructions! #barbie #sewing #miniature
