Finding a Trove of History in the Treasure State | Miles City, MT

Dive deep into the Treasure State's southeastern quadrant and although you might at first desire to zoom past the endless badlands and ranches, some of the most historic and charming towns are waiting to be explored. Miles City, once a frontier bastion that developed to accommodate the cattle trades between great distances of the Wild West, then became a home for brave homesteaders. Around the early 1900's this booming town was at the top of Montana's, but became outgrown ultimately by a different urban area nearby, from then on lost to the shadows of western history. Still being able to communicate Montana's take on the Old West in today's modern time, Miles City is way more than a stop along an interstate. What a way to introduce ourselves to Big Sky Country, in a city that grants peaceful smiles in familiar styles, with outstanding open views for miles and miles.
