Pt. 2 The Seed of Offense: What Grows When a Wound Takes Root 🌱

Offense is more than a feeling it is a seed. And whatever we allow to take root in our hearts will eventually produce a harvest. In this teaching, we will uncover the spiritual danger of offense and how a wound that is not surrendered to God can grow into roots of pride, bitterness, envy, jealousy, fear of man, and rejection of truth. We will look at biblical examples such as Pharaoh, Cain, Esau, Saul, Ahab, and the disciples who walked away from Jesus to understand how offense can distort perception, harden the heart, and lead people away from God’s will. The enemy does not always begin with a major temptation. Sometimes he begins with a small offense a hurt, disappointment, or unmet expectation and waits for it to take root. But God desires to heal our hearts, renew our minds, and produce the fruit of His Spirit in us.
