God Is Doing A New Thing… But First He Has To Remove The Old

Sometimes God isn’t delaying the new thing — He’s preparing you to carry it. What if the “new thing” God is doing isn’t just something He wants to bring around you, but something He wants to transform inside of you? In this message, we dive into what it means when God says He is doing a new thing and how sometimes before He pours out something new, He prepares the vessel that will carry it. Through the biblical picture of new wine and old wineskins, we learn that God doesn’t just change our circumstances - He renews our hearts, our minds, and our capacity to receive what He has for us. Sometimes making room for the new requires releasing the old: ✨ Past wounds ✨ Unforgiveness and resentment ✨ Shame and condemnation ✨ Old mindsets ✨ Regret and “what ifs” ✨ The things taking up emotional and spiritual space God is not asking you to erase your past - He is asking you to surrender the weight of it so you can walk freely into what He has prepared. We’ll look at the lives of Joseph, Moses, and Peter and see how God prepared them internally before entrusting them with something greater. The new thing may not begin with a new place, a new relationship, or a new opportunity. Sometimes the new thing begins with a renewed heart. Are you ready to make room for what God wants to pour out? “New wine requires a new wineskin.” 🤍 If this message blessed you, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share with someone who needs encouragement. #GodIsDoingANewThing #NewWineNewWineskin #ChristianEncouragement #FaithJourney #RenewYourMind #GodsPurpose #SpiritualGrowth
