Opening parade of Oldmeldrum Highland Games with the Massed Pipes and Drums, June 2018 - in 4K
The massed pipe bands of Northern Aberdeenshire, led by leading Drum Major Bert Summers, parade around the arena followed by the special guest, ex-professional football player Joe Harper, who would open the games. The bands included Oldmeldrum RBL Pipe Band, Inverurie Pipe Band, Lonach Pipe Band, Ellon & District RBL Pipe Band, Kintore Pipe Band and Huntly & District Pipe Band. The Drum Majors included Derek Dean, Bill Barclay, Ronnie Rennie & David Rae.
