Drum Majors lead massed Pipes and Drums march over bridge to 2025 Ballater Highland Games, Scotland

Drum Majors lead the massed Pipes and Drums over the river Dee and into Ballater as they marched through the town, making their way to the 2025 Ballater Highland Games on Thursday 14th August 2025. The pipe bands were playing the popular marching set of Scotland the Brave, Flett from Flotta and Wings, repeating. The leading Drum Major here was Bill Barclay, followed by Derek Dean, Neil Jamieson, Rob Brownfield, Nick Stables, Ellen Archer and Andy Curwen. The band staking part included Towie Pipe Band, Dufftown & District Pipes Band, Ellon & District RBL Pipe Band, Aberlour Community & District Pipe Band, Grnite City Pipes and Drums, Lathallan School Pipe Band and Alford Academy Pipe Band. (Ballater & District Pipe Band had already marched, leading the Royal Guard of Balaklava Company to the Games).
