Ode — Meditative Solo Piano Improvisation on Loss and Remembrance

Ode is an 11:34 real-time solo piano improvisation shaped by loss, memory, and quiet transformation. The piece is built around a recurring theme that returns in altered form throughout the improvisation — not as repetition in the mechanical sense, but as a kind of remembrance. Each return carries a slightly different emotional weight. Although the piece comes from a deeply personal place, I think its meaning is broader than autobiography. Most of us carry some form of profound loss, and music can sometimes reach that interior space more honestly than words. The video was created to support that atmosphere: abstract imagery, candlelight, stillness, and my blue Möbius image, which represents the meditative side of my improvisational work.
