Valve just changed the future of Video Games.
Valve has officially signed off on allowing Sandbox, the upcoming successor to GMod, to be used to create fully independent, commercial games, royalty free. Essentially, the Source 2 engine is now here for developers to create games and sell them on Steam, with no price on using the engine, using S&box. This places competition on Unity, Unreal Engine 5 and even Godot, as there's a new, very powerful and royalty free engine on the market. What can this lead to? What games can we expect? Well, that, and much more in the video.
