On the first day, we drove to Saint John, New Brunswick. Our hotel room had a nice view of the town and the port. We enjoyed a relaxing stroll through well-preserved 19th-century architecture in the Canada's oldest　incorporated city. Dinner was at Britt's Pub & Eatery. We had Southern Tofu Burger and Southern Chicken. Their spicy coating was very tasty. After dinner, we went to two locations, Fallsview Park and 200 Bridge Road to see reversing rapids, which are created by the high tides of the Bay of Fundy - the highest in the world. We were there during high tide. Though the rapids were not very big, we were able to observe the flow of water being reversed into Saint John River. On the second day, we were blessed with a beautiful sunny day. We drove to St Martins and St Martins Sea Caves. The caves were submerged during high tide in the morning. During low tide in the afternoon, we were able to walk on the ocean floor and explorer the inside of the caves. Back in Saint John, we enjoyed dinner at Thandi Indian restaurant. The dishes shown were Combination Satays, Channa Masala, and Butter Chicken. 2023年9月、カナダのニュー ブランズウィック州とプリンス エドワード島を旅行した11日間。初日、ニュー ブランズウィック州の街、セント ジョンまでドライブしました。ホテルは街並みと港が眺められる部屋に二泊しました。セント ジョンはカナダで一番古い都市、19世紀の面影を残す建築物を鑑賞しながら、リラックスした散策を楽しみました。夕食は Britt's Pub & Eatery で、Southern Tofu Burger と Southern Chicken をいただきました。豆腐とチキンにまぶされたスパイシーなコーティングがとても美味しかったです。夕食後は、リバーシング ラピッズを見に Fallsview Park と 200 Bridge Road の二か所を訪れました。リバーシング ラピッズとは、ファンディ湾が誇る世界最大の干満差によって引き起こされる現象で、急激な水の流れが生み出す渦巻などが見れます。訪れたのは高潮時で、水流は早くなかったものの、セント ジョン川方向に逆流する様子が観察できました。晴天に恵まれた二日目は、セント マーティンズとその近くにある海の洞窟を訪れました。午前中の高潮時は海水で満たされていましたが、午後の干潮時には完全に干上がったビーチ上を洞窟まで歩いていき、中を探索することができました。その後セント ジョンに戻り、Thandi レストランでインド料理を堪能。オーダーした料理は Combination Satays、Channa Masala と Butter Chicken です。 Music from YouTube Audio Library: Out On My Skateboard by Mini Vandals Watch It by TrackTribe
