Well, it took me 30 minutes to have the guts to remove the strips and once I did, oh my god. I had blood clots raised to the surface of my skin, I had multiple layers of my skin removed, it was awful. Definitely don’t recommend doing that! In conclusion, it is 100% best to let a professional handle this, of course, with your parents consent and presence at the appointment. Make sure your hair is at least 1/4th inches long to ensure the hair is able to be pulled from the root. Also, for the next 24hours after your waxing appointment, don’t do anything too physical, swimming, working out, sun exposure, sweating, etc. This is to help prevent any kind of bacteria or infection from entering your open pores.
