The stock lead acid batteries only lasted about one winter before performance dropped off badly, so hopefully this new setup lasts much longer and gives better range and reliability. I used a new T-plug connector to adapt it to the scooter’s original wiring without heavily modifying the scooter itself. I’m also keeping the stock charger setup untouched for now and just focusing on getting the scooter back up and running again.
