"Luta por reconhecimento", de Axel Honneth - Leituras no Errâncias
Hey! Another video from the "Readings" series here - this time talking about "Struggle for Recognition: The Moral Grammar of Social Conflicts," a very important book published by Axel Honneth in the 1990s. Honneth discusses the possible contribution of moral agendas (ecological, racial, gender, etc.) to social processes and struggles. Yes, it's a very relevant topic. Honneth attempts to recover the works of the "young" Hegel in Jena and associate them with Meade's work to ground the processes of self-relation and then understand them in the light of prominent contemporary authors such as Sartre, Winnicott, and others. Yes, it's dense. But it's great, and worth the effort! I hope you enjoy the video! Script and presentation: Will Franco Thumbnail art: Joy Xavier
