Regaining one's true length with Thérèse Bertherat, the the creator of Antigymnastique®

Thérèse Bertherat at work – in other words, giving an Antigym® session.  This film was shot in 2010, in the work space Thérèse created in the converted basement of her Paris home.  We find her guiding a woman and a man, with her soft and captivating voice, to the discovery of their own bodies.  Using simple but image-filled words to tell the story of and illuminate the face, the shoulder, hand, back of the knee, sole of the foot…. In this video, entitled “Finding your real length” Thérèse Bertherat invites the body to lengthen and to settle in complete confidence. You can watch this 10 minute film just for the pleasure of visiting or re-visiting the creator of Antigym®.   Or, if your body agrees, you can let yourself be guided by Therese Bertherat’s voice and try the movements she is proposing.  Just a small practical suggestion:  the small white ball, called a “doudine”, can be replaced by a firm foam ball about the size of an orange, or a soft tennis ball.
