Touhou 5: Mystic Square - Final Stage (Commentary & Translation)

The final confrontation, high above the frozen abyss Stage 6 is overly simple. It can get tricky with the amount of enemies' bullets if you give them a chance to fire, however it's easy to move with them and blast them before they can shoot you. Shinki while having multiple phases also has a few parts where the strategies are completely different. For the first part of the battle it's about getting through her attacks as fast as you can because they can and will overlap trapping you if you let them. Where as her second half of her attacks are very survival based. She won't move but the problem is that she dramatically reduces your movement range trapping you between walls of bullets forcing you to dodge very carefully. She's most difficult with high speed characters when she does this especially if you're used to putting as much distance as you can between bullets to dodge like I do. However if you can quickly get used to very careful focused movement you'll be fine.
