Touhou 5: Mystic Square - Extra (No Commentary)

Curiouser and curiouser! You know I've so far played through Touhou 2 to almost beating 9.5 with that in mind it takes a lot for me to call something in this series unfair... This whole stage is unfair. It's hard to call it difficult because I look at difficulty as to figuring out the pattern then using that knowledge to dodge it. This stage and boss fight both however use two different methods of attack. Either A the enemy will fire a large random spray of bullets or semi random which no amount of practice will ever prepare you for or more commonly B a predictable pattern that goes above and beyond EVERY previously known strategy to figure out how to dodge the attack. The stage itself is mostly random bullets fired everywhere. If you're really good at twitch dodging you'll do great here. The mid boss similarly is semi luck based with its attacks overlapping one another making dodging sometimes impossible. Alice however only has a few attacks that randomly spray bullets however the rest of her attacks have carefully disguised patterns that you will need to figure out if you want any hope of beating her. All in all she's not THAT bad provided you've figured out proper tricks to fighting her. However understand all the skill in the world isn't going to help you when a lucky randomly shot bullet clips you.
