Here we're Riding Amtrak's Crescent Northbound #20 🌙 train from New Orleans to Birmingham, Alabama. My son loves trains. So, I decided one day to take him on a train ride back in 2023, and we've been hooked ever since. I never anticipated enjoying the ride myself, but I did. It was peaceful, easy, no stress, no tsa, no lines, and all around a great experience. We've rode both coach and in the sleeper cars, and I look forward to many more great train journeys in the future. Thus far, the City of New Orleans train is my favorite, and the only train that I've ridden from beginning to end of route. I spent 8 HRS on the Amtrak Crescent. In this video, I'll show you what we ate in New Orleans the evening before departing Union Passenger Station the next morning, our 8-hour train ride with my son, myself, and my husband, what we did to pass time on the train, and what it feels like to ride in Coach class. Traveling by Amtrak is beautiful because you get to see how beautiful and vast the United States is and many parts of rural America that you'd never drive through bc they're off the main highways path.
