It wasn’t supposed to be like this — the plan was different. We planned a simple 200 km ride from Tanjung Balai to Tuk Tuk on Samosir Island. But from the very start this day was a total disaster. In the morning, Garmin and the maps refuse to cooperate. We set off at noon, and along the way something keeps slowing the ride down time and again. In the end, we get caught in the rain and ride even slower due to lack of visibility.
