The Millionaires' Club, which unites 63 cities in 5 countries, etc. Business or investing, which is better? That's the question I'm often asked. These are two things you can do simultaneously. People think investing is easier—the money just rolls in and that's it. Business is more complicated: you need to hire people, hustle, and organize the business process. I would introduce a third parameter that lies between business and investing. Investments are considered a process where you invest money once and receive interest. The simplest type of investment is a bank deposit. Another type of investment is buying securities and receiving dividends. We touched on a lot of investment instruments at the "Encyclopedia of Investments" conference. There are many intermediate things, and many people refer to investment projects as investments. There are business, investment projects, and investments. Business is when you actively engage in entrepreneurship and extract profit from it. An investment project is when you invest money in a business scheme and, thanks to the operation of this scheme, you extract profit. Investing is when you put money in and simply make a profit. Investing in real estate—you might think buying an apartment and renting it out is an investment, but no, it's a simplified investment project. A more complex example is buying an apartment and renting it out by the day. This isn't passive income, because you bought the apartment and then need to create a business project using that passive income: sales, organization, and maintenance. An investment business project differs in that it requires monetary investment to operate. Currently, one of the most popular investment methods is apartment hotels—properties that are converted into studios and rented out. You can't simply invest money and make a profit; you need to invest something and organize it. What's the difference between a business and a business project? A business is something that starts from scratch, while an investment business project starts with investments. Business is actively earning money by building a team and resources. An investment business project is actively organizing resources, a team, knowledge, and skills, plus more money. Which is better: business or investments? In terms of income generation, investments are better: you invest money and you receive a profit. But this money needs to come from somewhere, so until you have active funds, you'll have to run a business. Investor growth means starting a business, then an investment business project, and then that evolves into investing. Investing in dividend-producing stories is always investing in a business, so my conclusion is that it's better when you're strong enough to both start a business and earn money from investing in a business.
