The UNSOLVED Case of The Freeway Phantom

Prince Georges County, Washington D.C. and the surrounding area, 1971: It’s not often that in a place where law and Order are not only defined, but upheld, an individual lingers, unscathed by the legalities of what they have done. For over 50 years, with little to no insight, investigations, or suspects, a killer roams free, for crimes unpunished, and six young women, had their futures ripped away from them. It wasn’t until the early 2000’s that the severity of these crimes were brought back to the public eye. For nearly two years, 1971 to 1972, a killer stalked Prince Georges county, dumping the bodies of his victims on the side of I-295, leading to the only name we have been able to give to this individual, these are the crimes of the Freeway Phantom. Polygraph hopes to shed a clear perspective on cold cases and missing persons using all available factual information. This is purely a passion project and we welcome you all to join us in the process while we begin this investigation.
