Standing at the AFK spot turns it into "Raid Omen (30s)," and the raid begins 30 seconds later. ▼Simulation distance is below 4 💡Set simulation distance to 4 - this is the #1 pitfall. Change it from the title screen → Edit World → Advanced → Simulation Distance. On Realms it is locked at 4. ▼Difficulty is on Peaceful 💡Mobs do not spawn on Peaceful. Use Easy or higher. Hard raises the raid level for better drops. ▼You placed a bed or job block at the AFK spot 💡Within 150 blocks, never place a bed, job site block, bell or villager other than the farm's own - break it right away. Only chests, torches and leaves are OK. ▼Temporary blocks are left around the farm 💡Even one leftover block (outside, over the water, or on the roof) makes mobs spawn there. Remove every temporary block, all the way down. ▼Mobs spawn outside instead of inside 💡Within 64 blocks of the center, no floor other than leaves or scaffolding may remain (stone, dirt, wood, etc.). Cover it with leaves or remove it. ▼Raid bar stays up and the next wave won't come 💡Raiders likely escaped outside. They must stay within 112 blocks of the center. Circle the farm and check the roof, ledges, water and caves for stray Pillagers or Ravagers. ▼No Totem of Undying drops 💡Only Evokers drop totems. Make sure Evokers spawn inside and fall to the kill floor. Hard difficulty spawns more Evokers. ▼Checked everything and it still won't run 💡Go down this list one by one: □ Drank an ominous bottle, "Bad Omen" showing in the top right □ Difficulty Easy or higher (not Peaceful) □ Simulation distance set to 4 or higher □ No other bed / job block / bell / villager within 150 blocks (the farm's own excluded) □ All temporary blocks removed (roof, sides, over the water) □ The villager inside is linked to the bed & job block (green particles visible) □ Standing correctly at the AFK spot and waited 30 seconds Still stuck?
