How to make use of hydrogen as an innovative energy solution for a sustainable future? In his TEDx-talk, he gives us an overview of the functionality and prospects of hydrogen-based energy storage. He shows us glimpses of a hydrogen economy, how hydrogen can be used as fuel in automobile transportation and how it can be incorporated into our everyday lives as an alternative to fossil fuels. Tomas is a professor in Solid State Physics at the Department of Engineering Sciences at Uppsala University. His ongoing work undertakes research on low dimensional materials for solar cells, water purification, and solar fuels.
