It is a propitious time to renew our inner journey, to leave behind what hinders our spiritual growth, and to freely and responsibly commit ourselves to a consecration that strengthens our Christian life. Saint John Eudes, a great promoter of this devotion, proposes three fundamental attitudes for experiencing this novena fruitfully: A sincere desire to celebrate these feasts as if they were the only time in your life, asking the Holy Spirit to awaken in you a deep longing for encounter and renewal. - Humility of heart, sincerely acknowledging what we have wasted of the grace received, and committing to conversion through confession and reconciliation. Communion with the heavenly Church, uniting ourselves in prayer with Mary, the saints, and the angels, and invoking the three divine Persons to accompany and inspire this path of preparation. This novena is an invitation to open ourselves with openness and commitment, so that what we celebrate is not merely an external act, but a transformative experience.
