Before the release of the long-awaited Nikon Z-mount compatible micro lens, I tried it out for portraits, animal photography, and more, and shared my findings. I've been using an F-mount 60mm for macro photography since the days of SLR cameras, but in the mirrorless era, it seems to have emerged as an excellent, high-quality lens with fewer weaknesses in terms of image quality, AF performance, and aberrations.
