This time, my wife and I went on a tandem motorcycle tour to Miyato Island, a beautiful island in Miyagi Prefecture in the Tohoku region, in search of its stunning natural beauty. First, we headed to Nobiru Beach to see a horse sculpture made from driftwood. Standing against the backdrop of the beautiful sea, often called the "Izu of Tohoku," the horse sculpture was incredibly lifelike and moving. Next, we went to one of Miyagi Prefecture's most beautiful ocean scenic areas! We were soothed by the sandy beaches and island scenery, reminiscent of a private beach abroad. Finally, we took a sightseeing boat to a hidden ocean paradise. At Sagakei Gorge, one of Japan's three great gorges, the sheer cliffs and the islands rising from the beautiful sea were breathtaking. Please enjoy the beautiful scenery! For lunch, we enjoyed delicious grilled oysters, a seasonal delicacy, at "Oomina" located at the Okumatsushima sightseeing boat pier.
