After extensive research into that dam, Fudo discovered an alternative route to access the headwaters above it. What unfolded before him at the headwaters, when he finally reached them, was an astonishing sight. There was no sign of human life, and the water was crystal clear as far as the eye could see. "They must be here." With that expectation in his heart, he took one step at a time into the unknown headwaters. What awaited him there was an encounter with an unimaginable number of char.
