THIS HOUSE HAS BEEN ABANDONED FOR 50 YEARS, WITH OBJECTS OF GREAT HISTORICAL VALUE! #forgottenplaces #urbexpuglia #urbexitalia #followme #urbex #seguimi We entered an ancient abandoned house, a dwelling frozen in time for over 50 years, likely built in the early 1900s, if not earlier, and now completely left to decay. From the very first moments, we realized that this urban exploration would be unlike any other. All the entrances were open, and the interior proved extremely dangerous: the first floor had partially collapsed, with beams and floors now unstable, while the ground floor was submerged under hundreds of stacks of very old newspapers, accumulated over the decades. But it was as we delved deeper and deeper that we began to discover something incredible. In those now-forgotten rooms, we found authentic pieces of history: a rare DuMont television from the 1950s, a splendid Grundig radio with record player, original furniture, and numerous period objects that seem to have come straight from a museum. The most exciting discovery, however, came when we found some black-and-white photographs, likely dating back to the early 1900s. One of them depicts an Italian Navy officer in uniform. Shortly thereafter, hidden among the house's objects, an old sailor's hat also appeared. These two clues led us to formulate a fascinating hypothesis: this home may have once belonged to a Navy officer, still preserving part of its history.
