Upper Willow Creek Alaska Packrafting Low Water

How low can you go? pretty low! I think it was somewhere around 400cfs? 300cfs? This was my first time down Upper willow, i was in heaven with boofs everywhere! it really reminded me of the creeks and rivers i learned on in the South East (lower 48) fun creeky moves good to go and not too low with a great crew of boaters. A fun and adventurous portage through triple drop staying in the canyon so we diddent have to hike up and out. Monte Montepare, Ben Phillips, Roman Dial, Trip Kinney and the late Doug Demarest. I hade never met Doug before this day. It was a pleasure padding with Doug and learning from his grace, style, and control on the river, thank you Doug.
