Burrs Country Park to Peel Tower (Open Day), Holcombe Brooke 4 Mile Walk
A scenic walk from Burrs country park in Bury Lancashire to Peel Tower at the top of Holcombe Hill following the river Irwell and passing through Springside Farm, Summerseat and Holcombe Brooke. The walk is 4 miles, about two hours, with some not too steep hill climbing at the end. It was Peel Tower open day so we were able to climb the stairs to the top.
