One of the coolest and fastest planes to visit Piket airfield Sinj! The speed record for Piket Airfield is held by the Messerschmitt Bf 109 back in the WWII days. The Mitsubishi MU-2 is a Japanese high-wing, twin-engine turboprop aircraft with a pressurized cabin made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The first flight was back in September 1963 and was produced until 1986. This particular MU-2 was made in 1978. It is one of postwar Japan's most successful aircraft, with 704 manufactured in Japan and San Angelo, Texas, United States. In short this is one of the coolest planes I had a chance to fly.
