Sketching Plein Air - Godrevy Lighthouse, Cornwall

Today we are sketching plein air as the sun sets over St Ives in Cornwall. I found a nice perch to sit and enjoy the dramatic scenery of Godrevy Lighthouse. The waves were awesome! I was sketching with casein paints in my pocket sized watercolour sketchbook. I used 2 brushes - a half inch flat and small round. The colours I laid out in my pencil case palette were - Cad Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Cad Red, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Ivory Black and Titanium White.
