PLEIN AIR PAINTING - Fal River Cornwall landscape in oils
Hi there! Today I'm plein air painting a landscape in oils overlooking Restronguet Point on the Fal River in Cornwall. It was a lovely day with very changeable lighting conditions - the kind I really love! Keeps me on my toes and I have to make changes as I go to keep the painting tonally unified. This plein air painting was completed on location and I didn't feel it was necessary to add anymore to it - I liked it as it was. It is all part of my series of landscape paintings based on the Fal River and Carrick Roads that will be exhibited at Royal Cornwall Museum July until December 2022.
