Division with natural numbers ✅In this video you will learn DIVISION WITH NATURAL NUMBERS. Division refers to the idea of sharing, distributing, splitting into equal parts. In a division, the number to be divided is called the dividend, the number by which the dividend is divided is called the divisor, the result of this division is the quotient, and we also have the remainder, whose value must be a number smaller than the divisor. This number can be zero or different from zero. If the remainder is zero, we have an exact division; if the remainder is a number different from zero, we have a non-exact division. The inverse operation of division is multiplication, which is why, to check the result, you must perform the multiplication calculation. Thus, if we multiply the value of the quotient by the divisor and add the remainder, we will obtain the dividend. The method I used to explain this is the "long division method," which is used in Brazil.
