Hello. This is Odari. By chance, immediately after finishing the Annapurna Circuit, I ended up taking on the ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) connecting trek without a moment to catch my breath. However, my joy was short-lived. An unexpected problem arose because I took the AC bus from Muktinath to Nayapl. I was treated as having completely left the conservation area, so my permit was deemed expired at the Chomrong checkpoint. Ultimately, I had to pay a fine of 6,000 rupees out of pocket to repurchase my permit. 😭 I managed to pull myself together and keep going, but to make matters worse, I received the shocking news that there were absolutely no rooms available at Doban and Upper Doban. With exhaustion mounting and hail pouring down, I had no choice but to push on endlessly toward my next destination, the Himalayas.
