Built in 2024 at Scheepswerf de Volharding in the Netherlands to a design by Dick Regtvoort, this brand-new steel motor yacht is unlike anything I have covered on this channel before. She is 13.5 metres long, with a 4.25 metre beam and a 1.2 metre draft, making her perfectly suited to the Dutch inland waterways she was built for. What makes her genuinely special is the drivetrain. She is fitted with a Vetus Deutz diesel producing 170 horsepower for open-water passage-making, paired with a 15-kilowatt Belmarine electric motor on the same shaft for quiet, zero-emission harbour and canal work. That hybrid combination, on a boat of this quality and this size, is a serious piece of Dutch engineering. She has been launched, sea-trialled, and photographed. That is it.
