I Entered This Wartime Ammo Store That Few Have Seen
Built around the late 19th century for wartime use, this ammunition store was designed for function, not visitors. Hidden away and largely forgotten, it formed part of a wider military defensive system, storing ordnance safely away from open view. In this exploration, I carefully enter the structure through a narrow, awkward opening and document what remains inside today. From the layout and construction to signs of later wartime use, the space offers a quiet glimpse into how these facilities were built, adapted, and eventually abandoned. As with all explorations on this channel, the focus is on documenting history respectfully — showing what survives, how it was accessed, and what these places can still tell us decades later. This location was explored responsibly, without damage or disturbance, and with safety as the priority. If you’re interested in wartime history, abandoned military sites, underground structures, or hidden ammunition stores, this video forms part of an ongoing series exploring forgotten defensive infrastructure and difficult-to-access historical locations.
