Not My Best Cirrus SR22T G3 Landing The Deadly Base-to-Final Turn #privatepilot #MansfieldMA #1B9

Solo flight in a Cirrus SR22T G3 landing at Mansfield Municipal Airport, 1B9, in Mansfield, Massachusetts. This was a bumpy approach, and I’ll be honest, it was not my best landing. I bounced it. In this video, I break down the landing, what I could have done better, and the safety lesson that matters most: the base-to-final turn. That turn can become dangerous when a pilot overshoots final, gets slow, overcorrects, or tries to force the airplane back to the runway with too much bank or rudder. The better move is simple: keep the airplane coordinated, keep the turn controlled, and do not rush it. Make a smooth, slower turn toward final. If the picture does not look right, go around. There is no shame in going around. A bad landing setup does not need to become a worse landing. This is not flight training, flight instruction, or a how-to lesson. I am a certificated pilot flying solo in my own aircraft. This video is for entertainment, personal debrief, and general aviation discussion only.
