The village is fairly busy with passing through traffic, and has large green spaces. The crossing here in its current form dates back to 2009, and the extra set of lights for the access road still has its rather odd-looking twisted long shades. A single, three-train, 9-minute-long (mostly cut) lowering is seen in this video - a lot of traffic built up as the barriers wouldn't budge even for a train still performing station duties at Alresford - 'inefficient'!
