I Traced the Footsteps of History's Greatest Thinker
A documentary overlooking the life of the philosopher René Descartes. Cogito Ergo Sum is probably the most famous philosophy quote in history. Descartes was not just a great philosopher, but a scientist as well. So I've been traveling in his footsteps to show you the places where he lived studied and worked. We visits places such as Paris, Amsterdam and La Haye, which is now named Descartes in his honor. Hope you'll enjoy this episode, it's been a pleasure making it. Big thanks to Ludvig Hyrefelt who helped me film in the Netherlands. Almost all of the information in this episode comes from Desmond M. Clarke's book: Descartes: A biography.
