Practitioners' Day - Mainstreaming cultural heritage in community engagement
In a setting of suffering and loss, stories of resilience in which culture plays a central role have emerged interplaying between cultural traditions and coping mechanism. In this session, we are going to talk about the role of humanitarians and cultural heritage in emergency response, focusing on how to mainstream the protection of tangible and intangible cultural heritage in community engagement. At this regard, I will be introducing the work undertaken by ICCROM, best practices and some important reflections to the group - by Veronica Costarelli
