CE Forum: Coffee and Chat - Community Engagement through Local Organisations
In this Coffee and Chat session four experts helped us debunk common myths about national organisations’ capacity and ability to engage displaced communities in internal displacement responses. Myles Delfin from Bike Scouts, Philippines, Nimo Hassan from the Somalia NGO Forum, Yirga Gebregziabher from OSSHD, Ethiopia, and Maksym Hrynchyshyn from NNLPD, Ukraine, generously shared their experiences, learnings, and recommendations on why and how to support local organisations in their efforts (rather than getting in the way).
