🚗☀️ ROAD TRIP RECAP | Nashville • Hilton Head • Jacksonville • Cocoa Beach • Disney & More! What an amazing adventure! We decided at the last minute to pack up and hit the road for a family vacation, and it turned into such a fun and relaxing trip. Our journey started in Nashville, where we visited the iconic Grand Ole Opry. From there, we headed to Hilton Head and spent a couple of beautiful days enjoying the beach. Next, we traveled to Jacksonville to visit my niece, then continued on to Cocoa Beach to spend time with my sister. Along the way, we did some shopping, enjoyed a day at Disney, and made memories that we'll never forget. On our way home, we stopped in Dalton, Georgia, and then made another stop outside of Chicago before finishing the last stretch back home. One of the craziest parts of the trip was the weather! We left in 95-degree temperatures at night and returned home to 51 degrees and rain. Taking our time and driving a little each day made the trip so much more enjoyable. It would have been a 24-hour drive straight through, but breaking it up allowed us to relax, explore new places, and enjoy the journey as much as the destinations.
