Cute Fox Pups Wait Their Turn for Mom's Fish Dinner

As the fox pups explore further from the safety of their den, they find the path that mom fox takes back to them from Lake Ontario with fish. Often, the hungry ones follow this path closer and closer to the lake to be the first to get the fish. But sometimes, they are all sleeping in the den and have to be woken up by mom fox. She also appears to bring a rabbit, mice, & moles, and another prey item I am not sure of. She is no longer nursing her pups on camera. The last footage I have of her nursing is May 4th. She could have nursed away from the cameras, but this is usually the time that the pups are weaned. I am still only counting six pups, but they do not all appear on the same camera at once. There are some cute moments in this video of the fox pups playing by the den.
