Administrativos Seguridad Social: 1056 Plazas y el Plan para Aprobar (BOE explicado)

The call for applications for Social Security Administrative Officers (C1) has been published in the Official State Gazette (BOE), and in this video, I'll explain everything in detail: available positions, dates, requirements, tests, syllabus, what the actual exam is like, and finally, the plan I would follow today to get the position. If you're starting from scratch or coming from another competitive exam (State Administrative Officer, Auxiliary, etc.), this video will save you weeks of searching for scattered and contradictory information. And remember: when something is legal or part of the rules, always check it in the BOE, because that's where the information that can get you in... or out is published. And most importantly, to avoid mistakes: applications are due by January 30th. Submit your application as soon as possible and then decide on your strategy, but don't miss out due to an oversight. This is a competitive examination (not a combined competitive examination and merit-based assessment), so merit, experience, or training won't "save" you: the exam is what matters, and the best candidates get in. Regarding the exam, there's a key point that many people don't understand until they fail: it's a single 120-minute exercise, but with two parts. The first is a multiple-choice theory test (70 questions + 3 reserve questions), and the second is a multiple-choice practical case study (15 questions + 3 reserve questions). There are no aptitude tests or computer skills assessments: it's about memory, test-taking techniques, and above all, mastering the specific syllabus, because the practical case study is based on it. The syllabus consists of 36 topics: 23 general topics (Constitution, Administrative Law, Basic Statute of Public Employment, etc.) and 13 specific topics focused on Social Security. And as always: the panel asks questions based on regulations, so your study needs to be geared towards data, deadlines, percentages, and details (and identifying typical trick questions). Let me give you a dose of reality with some data: in the previous exam cycle, tens of thousands of applications were reported, but the "real" number is much lower because many people don't show up, others go unprepared, and many study without a method. Even so, just barely passing won't cut it: you have to meet the cut-off scores. For reference, in the last cycle, the cut-off was 39/70 for the theory section (≈5.6) and 11.5/15 for the case study section (≈7.6), although this can vary depending on the difficulty of each part. If you want a chance, your focus shouldn't be "studying when I feel like it," it's consistency + daily practice tests + case studies. And then there are the conditions: typical postings in the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS), the National Social Security Institute (INSS), and the Comptroller's Office; positions throughout Spain (with a tendency towards Catalonia/Balearic Islands in some calls for applications); a standard 37.5-hour work week; and an approximate starting salary of €1,500–€1,700 net (14 payments per year), with seniority bonuses and variations depending on the position. There's also a job pool: applying and reaching a certain level can open doors to temporary positions while you continue working towards a permanent post. Now tell me: are you going for the Social Security Administrative positions, or are you undecided between this and the State/AGE Administrative positions? Let me know in the comments 👇 And if it's helpful, sub...
