First police interview shows Pam Hupp hours after killing victim
Pamela Hupp, 60 (inset), was sentenced to life in prison for murdering mentally disabled man Louis Gumpenberger, 33 (right), in August 2016 in O'Fallan, Missouri. She described to police in her first interview (left) that she shot him after he tried to attack her with a knife in her driveway. Police discovered Hupp lured Gumpenberger to her home by pretending to be a producer of NBC's Dateline. It is believed Hupp wanted to frame the husband of her dead friend, Betsy Faria, for the murder. Betsy was stabbed to death in 2011 and her husband, Russell, was first convicted but later acquitted. He then claimed Hupp had murdered his wife because she benefited from Betsy's $150,000 life insurance policy. Original Article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/artic...
