Juicy Chicken & Potato Pie – Perfect Family Dinner. This chicken and potato pie has a tender, crumbly butter dough – no mixer required. Ingredients: For the dough: · Flour — 400 g · Baking powder — 1 tsp · Cold butter — 180 g · Kefir — 100 ml · Egg — 1 · Salt — ½ tsp For the filling: · Chicken fillet — 300 g · Potato — 2 small · Onion — 1 large · Vegetable oil — 70 ml · Salt — ½ tsp · Black pepper — a pinch · Ground coriander — ½ tsp · Paprika — ½ tsp For brushing: · Egg — 1 --- Instructions: 1. Mix flour with baking powder. 2. Grate cold butter directly into the flour. Rub with your hands until it becomes crumbly. 3. Make a small well in the middle of the crumbs. 4. Pour in kefir, add egg and salt. Mix well and knead into a dough. 5. Divide the dough into two parts – one slightly larger, the other smaller. 6. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 40–60 minutes. 7. Cut chicken, potato and onion into very small cubes (potato can be grated). 8. Put everything into a bowl. Add vegetable oil, salt, pepper, coriander and paprika. Mix well. 9. Roll out the larger piece of dough to about 5 mm thickness. 10. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. 11. Spread the filling evenly on top. 12. Roll out the smaller piece of dough and cover the pie. 13. Pinch the edges tightly to seal. 14. Make a small hole in the center for steam to escape. 15. Brush the top with beaten egg. 16.
