NIA (Non-Impact Aerobics): Moving to Heal is a joyful, low-impact movement class that blends gentle dance, balance training, mindful movement, and healing practices. Tuesday/Thursday, 2 pm MT Location: Zoom Instructor: kk Level: Beginner to Advanced Class Length: 45 minutes Floor Work: None Equipment: Chair without wheels Nia: Moving to Heal is a joyful, low-impact movement class that blends gentle dance, balance training, mindful movement, and healing practices. Move at your own pace—standing or seated—to improve mobility, balance, flexibility, and overall well-being. No dance experience is needed; the goal is simple: move, feel better, and enjoy the journey. Forget the idea that exercise is hard work. In this class, movement becomes a celebration. Set to uplifting music, you'll explore easy-to-follow movements inspired by dance, martial arts, and healing practices that help improve balance, flexibility, mobility, coordination, and strength. Whether you move standing, seated, or a combination of both, you'll be encouraged to listen to your body and move in a way that feels comfortable and enjoyable. Each class offers an opportunity to wake up your joints, improve circulation, challenge your balance, and release tension while having fun. You'll stretch, sway, step, reach, and flow through movements that support everyday activities and help you feel more confident moving through life. Along the way, you'll discover that movement can be playful, expressive, and uplifting—not something to endure, but something to enjoy. No dance experience is needed, and there are no complicated routines to memorize. Just bring your curiosity, your willingness to move, and your unique spirit. Whether you're returning to exercise, looking for a gentle way to stay active, or simply want to add more joy to your day, this class invites you to move at your own pace and celebrate what your body can do.
