We use our tool set for VAG wet dual-clutch transmissions (suitable for DSG DQ250, DQ380, DQ381, and DQ500) and demonstrate the entire process practically and clearly. Measuring or determining the correct shims is easier with the wet DSG generation than with the previous dry clutch. In these DSG transmissions, the clutch pack is immersed in oil, which is why it's necessary to install an end cap. To prevent leaks, this end cap must be installed using special sleeves.
